  SEPA By-Laws (Rev. 01-2022)

The St. Edith Parent Association (SEPA) offers opportunities for family involvement and support of the programs and events that help enhance our students' experiences at school.

SEPA sponsors a number of events throughout the school year which are either ‘fun–raisers,’ social events or fundraising events.

SEPA Mission Statement

  1. Promote the ideals of Catholic education by fostering a better understanding of parental responsibilities in the spiritual and educational development of our children.

  2. Enhance the quality of education at St. Edith Catholic School by raising funds for school supplies, programs, or equipment that fall outside of the school projected budget.

  3. Foster positive relationships and school involvement among parents, students, and the community.

  4. Maintain and enhance open communication among parents, teachers, and school faculty and administration.

Fundraising

SEPA sponsors a number of events throughout the school year.  The events are either ‘FUN–raisers’ for times of socializing or fundraising.  The FUN-raiser’s purpose is to bring together the St. Edith school families to help foster the ‘family’ environment within the school.  The purpose of the fundraisers is to raise money to purchase items that will enhance the education of the students and fund the social events.

If you are considering volunteering for any fundraisers or similar events, be prepared to complete VIRTUS's Protecting God's Children program and undergo a background check. Your participation will not only contribute towards a worthy cause but also help create an environment where safety is prioritized above all else.
